What it means to work with an Agent
A Buyers Agent is responsible for representing the buyer's interest in a real estate transaction not the sellers and generally the Buyers Agent is compensated by the seller at the time you purchase a home. An Agent should be someone that understands your needs, keep your needs upfront and on track as a home is often the largest asset an individual has. As well as keeping you, the Buyer educated through the process is very important too as it helps you to make informed choices. From the beginning of your search to protecting your interests on the negotiating table, service is number one to me. I am committed to making your move smooth. As a REALTOR® my standards are high and confidentiality is critical.
Financing Pre-Approval
It's important to know what you qualify for before you start to look at properties. There are several Mortgage Brokers and lenders that can help you. In some situations it will take a long time to find the perfect home. That is why it's a good idea to speak to a lender and lock in a good rate. It's also a strong negotiating tool to be able to make an offer on a property with positive financing as the financing is secured. This also gives you the opportunity to select the best mortgage without being under pressure. Another key point is not to forget the closing costs that the Buyer is responsible for. I've worked with many Mortgage Brokers and Lenders over the years if you would like me to recommend a few I would be more than happy to help.
